Looking out over the water between July and November you will more than likely spot a progression of whales going by. When you come to Nelson bay remember to go on a whale or dolphin spotting tour. Nelson Bay has a multitude of Dolphins living in the Bay. On any cruise around the bay you are sure to see some. If you go out to Anna Bay about ten minutes drive from Nelsons Bay, around sunset you may be lucky and seethe dolphins feeding in their natural habitat. amazing thing to witness.

I recently went out to the sand dunes at Birubi beach and sat in the dunes and enjoyed a bottle of Champagne while watching the sun go down. Amazing place to experience the solitude and the vastness.
