Explore Disney World's Various Theme Parks

Cinderella's castle is the iconic image of Walt Disney World, but the Magic Kingdom is only one of four theme parks. Throughout the parks you can experience cultures from around the world, animals of all sizes, and the magic you see in the movies. There is an extensive complimentary transportation system available to get you from one park to the next.

Epcot is separated into two worlds - The World Showcase and Future World. The famous Spaceship Earth welcomes you at the entrance and divides the two worlds. The World Showcase puts the cultures of eleven different countries on display. Each area has restaurants, attractions and shops to experience. Future World is committed to the fun of discovering science and technology.

Disney's Animal Kingdom is the biggest animal themed park in the world. It has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums for their standards in conservation, research, and education. There are more than 250 species of animals. Here, you learn about animals in a variety of ways, like getting up close and petting them or watching a musical show. There are also rides to enjoy throughout the park.

Hollywood Studios shows you the glitz and glamour of a classic Hollywood movie set. The attractions are based on the things we see on television and in the movies, and are designed to make you feel like a star. Learn about special effects, then jump into the sets of your favorite movies. Check out the Block Party Bash, a parade that stars characters from various Disney-Pixar films.

The Magic Kingdom is what everyone thinks of when you mention Disney. While you're here you can become a pirate or be transformed into a princess. This is where you can live in the stories and meet the characters of your favorite Disney movies. The classic Space Mountain hurls you past flashing lights through the darkness of space.

Two different water parks are in the area as well. Blizzard Beach is a ski resort themed water park, complete with a ski lift to take you to the top of Mount Gushmore. Race down the mountain on twin water slides, and look at your time as you splash down at the end. For kids that aren't ready for the big water slides, there is an area with zip lines, curved slides, and fake floating icebergs.

The Typhoon Lagoon is the other water park option. You can do the usual activities here, including play in the wave pool, but you can also take surf lessons. They happen before the park opens and classes are limited in size, so reserve your spot ahead of time. If you want, you even have the option of laying in a hammock on a sandy beach.

There are attractions and dining to please fans of all ages. The dining throughout the park can be as casual or as upscale as you like. There is so much to do in Disney World you couldn't possibly fit it all in one trip.
